We launched Masterminds in Odyssey to help our project member to achieve better results in mentor - mentee relationships, improve public speaking and leadership skills and develop their personal projects.

DURING A SESSION
WHAT HAPPENS
A couple of days before the session you and the moderator meet to define your personal goal to the session and to create a request to the group.

Warming up
Before an actual session begins, a moderator warms up the audience for around 15 minutes to set a positive and constructive mood to the meeting
Hot-seat rounds
Each participant takes the floor in sequence to explain his/her situation and to voice a request. Other participants share their experience one by one. One hot-seat round usually lasts 20 minutes.
Reflection
At the end of every session each participants shares the most valuable key-points he/she could take away from the session and commits to the action steps in order to solve his/her individual request.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
A REQUEST is the core of any mastermind session. It is a participant’s personal appeal to the group experience to solve a current problem/task witfhin the framework of achieving his/her goal.
For Odyssey Mastermind sessions we strongly suggest that a member of the group prepares his/her personal request at least one day in advance and shares it with the group/the moderator.
If a member finds it difficult to make a proper request to the group meeting, a moderator offers to clarify it.
A clarification of the request is a mini-strategic session (10−20 minutes) that is held either online or in text/audio messages individually with the moderator prior to the mastermind meeting.

Group meetings have maximum priority with the highest level of involvement for active group members. A participant should NOT perform other activities during the meeting (e.g. check or respond to emails, talk to/play with kids, etc.).
It is strictly forbidden to participate while driving or using any other means of transport.
A member should not be late to the meeting. It is recommended to connect to an online meeting 5 minutes earlier to check camera and microphone.

Cancellation of participation at a group meeting it possible ONLY for a good reason and by notifying the moderator 2 days in advance.

Participation in open ongoing group meetings is FREE for all Odyssey project active members as a token of our great appreciation for your trust and loyalty to the project.

- Your request should align with your personal goal
- A request should move you to your goal. That refers to the action steps you are going to make after you get the group feedback.
- A good request should be relevant to the group’s experience.
These are the reasons we ask you to share your request prior to the session with the moderator to see if it fits all the necessary criteria of a good request. A short 10 minutes online session can be held additionally to help you formulate your goal and define the proper request.
You can join every second ongong open Mastermind session if there is are free slots. The maximum capacity is 6 people at every Mastermind meeting. If all the slots are taken, we would suggest you to sign up for the next session.
After your first session you will be added to our private Odyssey Masterminds telegram channel where you would be able to sign up for future session without filling out the registration form.

In Odyssey project we are launching two main types of Mastermind groups:
- Ongoing groups have no end-date. They are usually open, which means that new participants may join a session. Such format applies perfectly to communities like the Odyssey Project, where people are already united by common charateristics and goals.
- 60/90 days groups always have a#nbspstarting and#nbspan end-date. Such groups are closed and consist of 4−8 participant who are united by a number of charaсteristics (e.g. share similar goals, similar values, similar context, similar profession, etc.). Such groups meet for 2-3 months in average and then split.
The moment we see that Odyssey Masterminds work well and are in demand, we will launch closed 60/90 days groups.
